The Planning Commission consists of five (5) members appointed by the Board of Supervisors and makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors upon all plans related to land development in the Municipality. It functions as the planning agency for the Municipality.

 

The Planning Commission meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM and at other times as may be necessary.  Additional meetings will be advertised.

The Zoning Hearing Board consists of three (3) members who serve three year terms. They conduct hearings and render decisions on appeals from the Zoning Officer; hear challenges to the validity of any ordinance or map; hear requests for variances and render decisions thereon; and hear and decide upon requests for special exceptions. They are also responsible for implementing the duties and responsibilities outlined in the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, as amended.

 

The Zoning Hearing Board meets the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM as may be necessary.  All meetings will be advertised.
